Why am i tempted to do it again please reply?

I haven't talked on xbox live for 2 weeks cus I got sick of talking to weirdos and I just cut off talking to anyone completly and I hardly have anyone over at my house cus everyone is busy doing stuff and when I don't have anyone over am tempted to talk online again how do I make the temptation go away I don't wanna give in
